OUR STORY
Barclay Briggs Interiors was founded by us, Hannah Barclay and Kat Briggs.
With over 20 years of professional experience each, we first met while working at a leading interior design studio in Chelsea, London.
After both relocating to Surrey in search of countryside and family life, we decided to combine our shared passion for thoughtful, beautifully crafted interiors—and so, our design studio was born.
HANNAH BARCLAY - CO-FOUNDER & DIRECTOR
BA (Hons) Interior Design
Hannah has a wealth of experience creating interiors for prestigious private residences, restaurants, large hotels and hospitals. Her work has ranged from creating the interior concept for new brands to delivering projects on site.
Hannah has previously worked for industry leaders Martin Brudnizki Design Studio, CantorMasters and Suters Architects (Australia) where notable projects included Corrigan’s Mayfair, Hix Soho, Les Deux Salons, Wild Honey, Jamie Oliver’s Recipease, Casita Andina and The Beekman Hotel NYC.
Kat Briggs - CO-FOUNDER & DIRECTOR
BA (Hons) Interior Architecture
Kat has extensive experience of interior design, working from concept to completion on high-end residential properties, luxury hotels, exclusive restaurants and award winning retail design.
Having previously worked for industry leaders Martin Brudnizki Design Studio and Lumsden Design, notable projects have included 45 Jermyn Street, The Ivy Cafe, the Natural History Museum, University Arms Hotel Cambridge, Côte Brassiere & Four Seasons Hotel.

You were previously called Design Twenty Five; why did you change your name?
When we established our studio in 2018, we had both recently relocated to Surrey, for countryside and family life. It was natural for us to focus on location – and the fact that both our Surrey homes were numbered Twenty Five lent itself to a name for our new venture.
Four years later, we discussed a name change. We felt more of an established interior design studio with a lot of our clients coming to us as a result of personal recommendations. We are increasingly sought-after beyond our immediate area, for our working-style as well as our design results.
Our name now reflects the importance our clients place on the expertise that we personally provide, as creators of beautiful interiors which enhance our client’s lifestyles.
